Making a
Trac-ster™ involves four main steps.
Carving
After a design is sketched out on paper and refined, it's transferred to a wooden block where it's carved out by hand and sanded to a smooth finish.
Pattern Making
After the model is carved and sanded, refinements are made to ensure a quality pattern.
Casting
Prior to casting, the pattern in put into a bed of fine sand. The sand it tightly compressed around the pattern. After this is done, the molten aluminum can be poured.
Finishing
Finishing involves polishing the aluminum cast parts to a high polish.
